Rotatary dampers are new to the norelem range: These maintenance-free and ready-to-install machine elements help by the controlled braking and dampening of rotating or linear movements.

To the products:

This is useful for e.g. smaller covers, compartments and drawers.. The rotatary dampers reduce wear and so, increase the value of the components to which they are fitted. This is why the components are not only used in machine and plant construction, but also in the furniture industry. Rotary dampers also prove their worth in linear slides, pneumatic cylinders and conveyor systems.

The outer body of the rotary dampers from norelem is made of electro zinc-plated steel, the mounting shaft is made of plastic.
The standard parts are available in two different models:
In Form A, the mounting shaft is round, a choice can be made between clockwise or anticlockwise damping.
By Form B the mounting shaft is square, the rotary damper brakes movement in both directions.
If two rotary dampers are to be used for single-sided damping, both a counterclockwise and a clockwise model must be installed.
If two identically rotating versions are installed, this has the effect of a double-sided damper.
The rotary dampers are available in two different sizes and with torques of 1 Nm to 8 Nm.
The max. speed is 50 rpm. The max. cycle rate is 12/min, whereby one cycle rate corresponds to one 360° rotation to the left and right.
