| Joint angles are often used e.g. for connecting two aluminium profiles of the same series, where the side faces of both profiles are in contact and can cross at any angle. |
| The joint angle acts as a fixed pivot point of the cross profiles. If the screw which joins both profiles together is tightened securely, the angle can still be freely rotated around the bearing bush. |
